Mortal Kombat Vita - Out Tomorrow!

The day is almost here. The most feature packed portable beat em up ever on a handheld system is out tomorrow. So how about a live action trailer for the game?

Not sure I approve of her handling of a PS Vita, dangling it around on its headphone lead, but that's girls for you.

The reviews from the other side of the pond have started coming in and Mortal Kombat already has an impressive 89 on Metacritic. Which makes it the highest rated Vita game so far, just ahead of Rayman Origins on 88. Here are some summaries of the review so far.

Giant Bomb: 5 Stars "The single-player story mode is still astoundingly deep and the challenge tower is an exciting and maddening climb."

Gaming Age: Grade: A "There's a lot to love about Mortal Kombat for the PS Vita. The game controls like a dream, the modes and gameplay lend themselves extremely well to short bursts of play, and NetherRealm even included solid online multiplayer gameplay and functionality."

Game Informer: 9/10 "This is the most complete version of Mortal Kombat available."

Destructoid: 90 "This a perfect example of keeping the best graphical fidelity possible and including an already astronomical amount of content, while adding an even more extensive set of missions for players to explore that masterfully uses various features the PS Vita has to offer."

With Vita owners already worrying about the lack of new titles to play. It would like tomorrow would be a good day to get to local game retailer!

I hope to bring you our review very soon.

Mortal Kombat is released in stores and on PlayStation Store on Friday 4th May.
